Sent it back, because I've originally ordered a reference design card to be able to use a bigger PCIe card in Slot 2 without blocking the fan.
System profiler reported 3 GB.Īnd it runs much cooler than my current GTX 570. Luxmark results were awesome, although Luxmark and OpenCl Wave reported the card as 1.5 GB but that's likely a cosmetic glitch. Had issues running the Heaven or Valley benchmarks with AA on. Ran at 1x Speed as reported by lspci and OpenCl Wave. Had this Sapphire 7950 card in my Mac Pro for a day before I've sent it back: For instance, this card has the same port configuration: So the next thing would be to test a Sapphire 7950 PC card with same specs, to check the limitation.
